Welcome to our new website!
Our original website went live when Paxman & Paxman was launched way back in 2010. It served us well and helped us to grow our business and build a reputation in Perth for providing quality legal representation in criminal law matters at a reasonable price.
However, a new year brings with it fresh changes. The first of several big changes for Paxman & Paxman in 2016 is our new-from-the-ground-up, bigger, better and more informative website.
We have a new blog section to keep you up-to-date with the changes to the legal system in Western Australia as well as the rest of Australia. Given that we have a federal election in 2016 and a state election in early 2017 we are expecting to see lots of pointless, ineffective legislation through state and federal parliaments in an effort to win favour with ill-informed voters looking for a better night’s sleep. As the great Benjamin Franklin once wrote:
“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
We will also keep you up-to-date with the latest news stories and commentary about the criminal law, trials and courts from Western Australia and elsewhere.
We have also added new pages with helpful information about the criminal law. There’s information about bail applications, extraordinary licences, restraining orders and spent convictions. We will continue to add content on the criminal law in Western Australia and other areas that we specialise in.
The wesbite is just the first of several big changes for us in 2016. So please bookmark this page and check regularly for new content and updates.
Finally, we would like to thank the team at Digital Monopoly for the excellent job they have done with the site design and for their immense patience in dealing with an overly fastidious client!
